Seems almost impossible…
I am in the process of relocating to a completely different state, AGAIN, and trying to stay healthy while this transition takes place is a bit of a task. I have to be intentional about finding the foods that I want to eat for my body and my daughters body. I am a mother who tends to worry about what everyone around me wants to eat. I have to let go of worrying about everyone else more than myself. I get caught up in criticism of my food choices when it comes to my children and husband. This has caused me harm and heartache. I will continue to include my daughters food intake along with mine, but everyone else is a an adult, I know that I have taught them well, there food choices are now up to them.
Being intentional about my health and the health of my daughter is not difficult. It is a natural process for me because I naturally lean towards healthy foods. I actually crave heathy foods. During our travels I managed to visit a restaurant that I admired on social media, it’s called “Cafe Gratitude”. This restaurant was amazing. The menu was chocked full of options. We enjoyed the fare immensely.
Here are a few mindful healthy eating habits and tips that work for me…
pack your lunch.
prep/cook your own food
find foods that work for your body
always keep water with you
small snacks help with hunger pangs
find eateries that meet your food requirements
