for "Mothers Day" my husband prepared burgers using fried plantains for the buns along with a creamy tahini and cilantro sauce. This meal stuffed me like a tight pillow. I could barely breathe. He also served cheesecake. Ugh! Very heavy meal. But delicious nonetheless. This burger included grass-fed beef, avocado, tomatoes, and greens. This was so easy to make. The biggest focus is cutting and preparing the plantains just so to ensure that the plantains are flat and easy to build a burger.
Grass-fed beef. Not our usual choice for ground beef. We rarely purchase ground beef because I find ground beef too heavy for me to digest.
Creamy tahini and cilantro sauce. This sauce can be used for so many meals.
This is a hardy and juicy burger; very satisfying. Hubby did a great job. Let me know if you decide to go for it and create this burger too. Tag me or link me or whatever possible so that I can see your version.
